I'm Ray/เรย์, a Computing Science student who builds where code meets capital. I run portfolio management at Oakwood Fund. Outside finance, I work on quantitative models, machine learning and low-latency programming. Away from my projects, I enjoy gardening, particularly crossbreeding peppers and tomatoes, as well as golf and cycling. Always interested in learning something new, especially when it sits outside my usual field.
Risk-adjusted, with a low-latency C++ risk engine modelling the tails.
Insight programmes across JPMorganChase, McKinsey, EY, Deloitte, Barclays and Wells Fargo.
Whose stock selection now runs through the Conviction Engine I architected.
On SCMM, the Rust skin market tracker I built backend for (~5k daily).
Globally — 61st of 2,100, top 10 in four individual challenges.
Systems that trade, drive & fly.
The Conviction Engine
A systematic research framework that turns 35 analysts' opinions into one disciplined pipeline. Seven modules, end to end:
- Data ingestion
- Factor scoring
- DCF stress-testing
- Risk & diversification
- Kelly sizing
- Backtesting
- Client-server dashboard
C++ Tail-Risk Engine
A low-latency risk engine for fat tails. Fractional Kelly, VaR/CVaR, sector and correlation caps — stress-tested alongside a WorldQuant quant researcher. Every position simulated and backtested before inclusion.
Drawdown ML & Live Desk
ML models that predict drawdowns, wired into a real-time Alpaca dashboard to time entries and exits, track live holdings and run delta-neutral strategies.
Autonomous Driving Stack
Leading 6 engineers building a self-driving car in CARLA, using comma.ai's open model fine-tuned for tougher roads.
Steam Market Manager
Backend for a fan-made Rust skin market tracker: hosting, client-server architecture and docs. On the side, an order-book strategy that bought launch-time mispricings well below fair value and sold into demand.
HV Powertrain
Lead Motor & Inverter Engineer for a team backed by Lotus and Dassault Systèmes. Motor selection, inverter matching and HV integration — chosen with lap-time simulation (mass vs power), plus HV safety review and scrutineering prep.
Level 1 Rocketry
Founded UEA's rocketry project targeting Level 1 certification. Sponsors including an international airport, 19 members, faculty support, and ex-NASA professors as mentors.

Where I've been building.
Always learning, in private and public.
daily-tracker
A daily LeetCode + Project Euler duel with two friends, with auto-generated progress charts. Day 308 and counting.
FinanceQuant-Algorithms
CAPM, APT, Fama-French three-factor and Carhart four-factor models, built and documented from scratch.
OptionsQuantitative-Trading-Tool
Black-Scholes pricer with PnL tracking, database persistence and an interactive dashboard.
Live on Streamlitlcg-visualization
How do computers fake randomness? An interactive visual of linear congruential generators.
Hardwareelectronics
Learning FPGAs on a Terasic DE10-Lite — from blinking an LED to driving VGA at 640×480.
2nd overallRoboticsMotorBit
Obstacle-avoiding micro:bit robot — 3rd in maze solving, 2nd overall at the Bangkok Robotics Competition.
MathsWasserstein-Distance
An in-depth guide and notebook on Wasserstein — earth mover's — distances.
Compilerslexical-analyzer
A tokenizer with a keyword table and dynamic symbol table that emits hex tokens.
PropulsionPicoGK
Computational-engineering geometry kernel experiments, learning about rocket propulsion.
